Who this site is for

This site is intended for readers who are at least 21 years old (or the legal drinking age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you are under 21, please leave the site.

Information we collect

Email addresses

If you submit your email — either through the inline "Email me this recipe" form on a calculator, or through the newsletter signup at the bottom of the page — we send the address to our email automation provider (n8n + downstream mail services) so we can send you the recipe and, optionally, future recipe updates.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your email. Every message we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

Usage analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and understand which pages and recipes are popular. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site itself does not set tracking cookies. Your browser may store small amounts of data locally (for example, your last-used recipe or unit preference); that data stays on your device.

However, this site is supported in part by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites.

Third-party services we use

  • Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, basic security and aggregate analytics.
  • Google Fonts — typography. May log IP addresses per Google's standard practice.
  • n8n / email provider — sending recipe emails and the newsletter, only when you submit your address.
  • Google AdSense (where applicable) — display advertising.
  • Amazon Associates — affiliate links to bar tools and books.

Your rights

You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We typically respond within a few business days.

Residents of the EU, UK, and California have additional rights under GDPR / UK-GDPR / CCPA respectively. Contact us with any such request and we'll honor it.

Children

This site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll bump the "Last updated" date at the top whenever we do. Material changes will be announced on the home page or to email subscribers.
